I love to journal. Now, to be completely honest, I am not the most diligent when it comes to my journaling skills. I have had many journals throughout the years of my life. Some, I've filled. Others, I've started then abruptly stopped for reasons such as moving on to another journal, lack of discipline, or that I left a certain journal in an obscure place only to find it years later with a few pages filled. But, reading through all my journals, I see a common thread of prayers and praises, pouring out my heart to God and seeing His ultimate promises being fulfilled by His unfailing word.

God’s promises are seen throughout my journals. As I journeyed through the ink on the pages, I see that God’s timing is not my timing.

He is the ultimate healer, restorer and provider. He goes before me and continues to guide me. His Word will never fail and His promises are for me and you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you, so do not fear and do not be dismayed. No matter what you might be going through, I know that you can rely on God’s promises…these are just a few!

He will be with you.

He will protect you.

He will be your strength.

He will answer you.

He will provide for you.

He will give me you.

He will always love you.

If you love to journal, keep it up! Highlight answered prayers. Underline prayers you are still waiting to be answered. I love seeing the hand of God move through the marked-up pages of my life. If you are a beginner and don’t know where to start, open up a blank journal and let the ink flow. Write a letter to God. Lay before Him your heart's desires…your prayers…your worries…your fears. Write down scripture to meditate on throughout the pages of your journal. Believe that God’s BEST is for you…and remember God’s Promises are YES and AMEN.

For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.

2 Corinthians 1:20

I am so excited to share that one of the promises I've been journaling about is coming to fruition on October 1st. Click the link below to learn more...
