Meet the Team: Sandi

I am so grateful to have a team of strong and talented women helping me move my business forward, and I thought it was high time to introduce them. It's my pleasure to introduce you to my wonderfully encouraging project manager, Sandi! Name: Sandi Scott Title: Project Manager Part of Anne's team since: October 2015 When did you first realize you loved art? I loved art as a kid. I can remember doing a project on Georgia O'Keeffe in elementary school and was so fascinated by her point of view and her subjects. I recall drawing a lot and often asked for art supplies as birthday or Christmas gifts and always searched for ways to be creative. Fast forward two decades and I'm now working for Anne! It has been really neat to rediscover that same fascination with an artists' point of view and appreciate the impact art can have in someone's life. What is your favorite Anne Neilson Home product? Unfair question! My journal is used frequently, but I'm a sucker for a great candle!! Favorite candle scent: Another unfair question - so I'm going with my top two! Day Break and Embrace. What is your favorite Scripture? 1 Peter 1:3-9 "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God’s power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In all this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials. These have come so that the proven genuinenessof your faith—of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire—may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed. Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls." What gives you the most joy? On a surface level, making a good dinner, a banana bread that's edible, and baking a perfect chocolate chip cookie. I love making something other people can enjoy. What is your go-to worship song? As of late, I have been loving "Even When It Hurts" by Hillsong United from their Empires album. *Cue the tears* What is your favorite way to give back to the community? I think it's always a life changing experience to serve in some capacity. I love serving dinner at Jackson Park Ministries with my eGroup every other month, but the Anne Neilson team was able to pool our financial resources together and work with a local elementary school this past December to bless some children with Christmas gifts. I had a blast fulfilling their wish lists, and it was truly amazing getting to deliver them to the kids. My heart was so full throughout that whole experience. What is a perfect road trip? One that includes good food, good music (Justin Timberlake, BSB, Adele, Boyz II Men are some top picks) and good company. Those will make or break any length of time spent in a car! Which person has impacted you the most? Genuinely I'd have to say my husband Tyler. Marriage has a way of making you look at yourself and life like nothing else can. Tyler is someone who impacts the way I think and do life every day. I anticipate motherhood will be like that too, but I'm not there yet. Last book you read? Fight for the Forgotten by Justin Wren What's your favorite guilty pleasure? Jeni's Ice Cream (Bramble Berry Crisp please and thank you!) and binge watching Netflix. What three things are always in your bag? My water bottle, chap stick/lip gloss, and likely some form of chocolate and/or Chick-fil-A mints (more guilty pleasures)
